IT HAPPENED HERE
The members of the Little Mill Creek Church located where Fairview Cemetery now sits today, relocated their church into Ostrander onto Ostrander Plat Lot No. 41 and 44.  The original frame structure was built in 1863 at a cost of $800.  It was constructed by William Wallace Hutchisson.  Upon completion, the congregation moved into this new church and changed their name to Ostrander Presbyterian Church.  In 1912, a partial basement was placed under the church.  Later, in 1923, the church was remodeled, a basement put under the entire building, an addition placed on the rear of the building, and stained-glass windows installed.

The Ostrander High School graduation commencements were held at the Ostrander Presbyterian Church in the early days.
