| LUCAS
SULLIVANT |
|
Lucas Sullivant was an early
settler to Central Ohio and platted Franklinton, Ohio which is the land on
the west bank of the Scioto River in what is now Columbus, Ohio.
Lucas left his "footprints" in Scioto Township when he named
Boke's Creek after a freed-slave who had become a member of the Sullivant
household.

| DAVID
BLUE |
| While surveying in Union County, Ohio, David
Blue's horse fell through the ice and he got his feet
wet. They named this creek Blue's Creek. For many
years, the creek was known as Little Mill Creek in Scioto
Township, but sometime after 1900, came to be known, as it was
in Union County, as Blue's Creek. |
